<interact 2013> symposium

Dates: March 21st and 22nd, 2013

The <interact 2013> symposium – organized entirely by PhD students – will bring together young scientists from all fields of life sciences in order to foster new ideas, cooperation and friendships in an interdisciplinary atmosphere. Apart from the opportunity to present and discuss each others scientific work, there will be three inspiring keynote talks as well as a special lecture at the pre-event

We are inviting proposals for scientific organisers of the HERTIE Winter School 2013. The FENS-IBRO HERTIE Winter School will be held in Obergurgl, Austria, December 8-15, 2013.To apply, please, follow this link.

We are inviting student applications for the FENS-IBRO School "From Sleep Science to Sleep Medicine" to be held from July 18 - 23, 2013, in Kizbegi (Tbilisi), Georgia. The proposed Sleep Training Course is aimed to fulfil a critically important educational function of promoting basic and clinical sleep research in Georgia and in the entire Caucasus region, ensuring that there will be local groups of highly-trained: (1) young specialists who are carrying out basic, clinical and translational sleep research and (2) physicians who are practicing sleep medicine. more information. *FENS-IBRO School * "Imaging Training Center 2013: Imaging Human Brain Structure and Function" - Inviting Student Applications -

We are inviting student applications for the FENS-IBRO School Imaging Training Center 2013: Imaging Human Brain Structure and Function to be held from August 25 - September 13, 2013, in Lausanne/Geneva, Switzerland. The Imaging Training Center will be dedicated to state-of-the-art mapping of brain structure and functions. The principal objectives will be to train participants in the latest available methods/technologies and analysis techniques, and the current applications in basic and clinical neuroscience research. Emphasis will be placed on:1) cutting-edge imaging technologies and their mutual integration,2) advanced signal analysis. more information

*FENS-IBRO Training Centre * "European Synapse Summer School" - Inviting Student Applications -

We are inviting student applications for the FENS-IBRO School European Synapse Summer School to be held from September 8 - 27, 2013, in Bordeaux, France.The European Synapse Summer School aims at combining theoretical and practical training. Methodological and goal-oriented training are achieved by guiding the students through hands-on experiments within the frame of short scientific projects. In addition, the school promotes interactions between students and highly renowned scientists and offers conditions to stimulate students' discussion on lectures and laboratory experiences. Topics will include: cell biology of synapse function, synaptic transmission. read more.
