GSN-LMU 2014 Munich Brain Course Award

As a sponsor, the GSN will select up to 10 BSc and MSc students from programs outside of Germany to participate in 2014.

09.12.2013

Neuroanatomy is the foundation of all neuroscience, but the application of neuroanatomical knowledge in everyday clinical or scientific practice can be difficult. The brain courses at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München aim at illustrating and teaching anatomical issues with approaches from various neuroscientific disciplines. The Munich Brain Course is a yearly event which will be held every spring starting in 2014. Each course has three main topics with additional presentations and hands-on dissections. The upcoming course will take place on March 26th - 29th 2014 and focus on the thalamus/hypothalamus, sensorimotor system and parietal lobe.

As a sponsor of the Munich Brain Course, the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences at LMU Munich will select up to 10 students currently enrolled in life science or natural science Bachelor or Master degree programs outside of Germany to participate in the 2014 course. Students can apply for one of the 10 scholarships until January 15th, 2014. Selected students will receive an award covering travel costs and course fees.
