AIAS organization, co-founded by MSc student Katharina Zech, wins the startsocial-Bundespreis

The AIAS München e.V. club, co-founded by GSN student Katharina Zech, has been awarded the startsocial-Bundespreis, an inititative started by Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel. Two representatives were honored in Berlin for the club's work in Nov. 2013, which has already resulted in 5 stem cell donors being identified to help save leukemia patients. Katharina and her colleagues are now working to inspire students at other German universities to organize AIAS campaigns at their home campuses.
