HAND, BRAIN & TECHNOLOGY

The tight functional coupling between hand and brain has greatly shaped the evolution of language, culture and technology. This conference will bring together leading researchers from the multiple disciplines studying the unique dexterity and sensory abilities of the hand, its neuromechanical and physiological control, as well as its functional recovery and neuroprosthetic restoration following injury.
Turkish-German Symposium on Human Neuroscience
*Bursaries for the "First Turkish-German Symposium on Human Neuroscience" *
Erich-Frank-Gesellschaft Munich is dedicated to Munich-Istanbul biomedical cooperation and offers three bursaries for participation in the "First Turkish-German Symposium on Human Neuroscience" in Berlin June 5-7, 2014 (a satellite of the Human Brain Mapping Meeting). The amount of 500€ is meant for students or postdocs at LMU (all faculties, all nationalities), as long as they successfully submitted an abstract to the meeting further informations about which are found here: http://www.cbs.mpg.de/events/workshops/1st-t-g-sym-14
Candidates are selected on the basis of the abstract submitted to the meeting, a CV with current information on study or research progress (1 page, DIN A4, single lined) a a motivation letter (1 page DIN A4, single lined) in German or English.
Applications must be mailed as pdfs to the office of fuat.oduncu@med.uni-muenchen.de. Deadline is May 4, 2014, 24:00.
Successful applicants are expected to provide a short written report about the meeting.
