The Institute of Clinical Neuroimmunology offers a position for a

PhD student (m/f)

in the area “immunopathogenesis of multiple sclerosis”.

The Institute of Clinical Neuroimmunology is devoted to research into the mechanisms and treatment of multiple sclerosis. The infrastructure of the institute is ideally suited for combining basic research with clinically relevant issues.

Description:
The planned project will be performed in the lab of Prof. Dr. Edgar Meinl and aims at the analysis of autoantibodies in multiple sclerosis.

Your profile:
Candidates should hold a Master degree in Biology, Chemistry, Immunology or a related subject. The position could also be filled by a highly motivated MD interested in basic research aiming to obtain a PhD.

Position:
The position will be in intensive scientific exchange with experts from the following consortia which provide funding for the lab: SFB TR128 “multiple sclerosis”, the German Clinical Competence network for multiple sclerosis, the SyNergy cluster, and Centers of Excellence in Neurodegeneration (COEN). The salary will be 65 % E13.
