GSN Annual Retreat
After Orientation in the first week of October, more than 120 of our graduate students started off the GSN annual retreat in Garmisch Partenkirchen by crossing through Partnachklamm gorge. A great way to begin a weekend filled with neuroscience talks and posters, social activities, and networking. In the evening, Faculty Member and GSN Alumnus Valentin Riedl projected his movie "Lost in Face". The viewing was followed by an entertaining Q&A session late into the evening.
Day two at the GSN Retreat and a small snapshot from the evening poster session. Almost 70 posters were presented alongside talks from PIs and students. The day wouldn't have been complete without social activities like archery, hiking, and boardgames.
An amazing closing to the GSN Retreat on Sunday after the last talks of the weekend! Many thanks to all the participants for their energy and taking advantage fully of the opportunities offered by the retreat!
