05.05.2015

The Marsilius Kolleg, an interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Study at the University of Heidelberg, has organized a summer school on "Anthropology of Perception: Natural Sciences and Humanities in Discussion". The Academy will take place from September 14-20, 2015 and will be held at the Heidelberg International Science Forum.

Young scientists and PhD students in the natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities will have the opportunity to discuss the topics of the summer school with renowned experts, such as the human senses and the inextricable entanglement of man’s body, mind, and world. These include both neurophysiological processes as well as the relationship between the phenomenal nature of perception and the reality of how humans perceive one other.

Interested persons from all walks of life and experiences as well as from all scientific disciplines can apply to participate in the Summer Academy until May 29, 2015.

Information about the program and the application procedure can be found online at http://www.marsilius-kolleg.uni-heidelberg.de/sommerschule2015/index.html.
