Research focus: Prof Sauseng is interested in the neuronal substrates of human working memory and attention. Using a multi-method electrophysiological approach (EEG, TMS, tDCS) Paul's team investigates how working memory and (visual) attention are controlled and how they interact. Thereby they particularly focus on studying neural synchronisation by oscillatory brain activity.
