Research focus: Function of glial cells in nervous system development and homeostasis: molecular mechanisms of glial phagocytosis and blood-brain barrier regulation, the role of glia in neurodegeneration and behavior, molecular systems biology, transcription, chromatin regulation at promoters and enhancers.
